I open my board and it does not have compass sensor chip. It is emty at compass chip location.

as of August 2014 units delivered have NO compass built in. you will need to use GPS with compass or purchase a separate HMC5883L module to connect to I2C port.

Requires:
1 x GPS (with compass)

but it lso has option to cut for external compass .
So it make me confuse.
