However you can use the two-way tx telemetry module (e.g. DFT or DJT) with both D8 and V8 receivers by using different combinations of switches on the back of the module. It's explained in the manual.

Notice that this D8 telemetry receiver is only compatible with the two-way telemetry transmitter module, JR or Futaba. If you try to bind this D8 receiver with a single transmitter module serie V8, it would not bind. I have both system, thought that I could mix D8 and V8 receivers with either transmitter module, but it is impossible.
